The UK government recently announced changes to legislation, increasing the tools landowners have to manage their deer population.

But without a fundamental change to how deer are managed in the UK - will this make any difference?

Due to high demand from my children, I've been visiting Charlecote Park, a local National Trust site with 185 acres of parkland, twice every weekend!

Aside from the history, excellent paths and hot chocolates - it's also brilliant for nature lovers! A great herd of fallow deer call the park home, as well as a variety of other wildlife. For those needing a nature reset - this is just the ticket.

Exmoor is a regular holiday location for us - and this year I set myself the challenge to explore with my camera. 

In between cream teas, National Trust visits and beach days, I bumped into an astonishing range of wildlife, just by walking along the well marked footpaths in the early hours.
